Target clientele
Businesses in operation from 0 to 5 years. With investor reference, applicant
businesses may be active in any sector. Otherwise, to qualify, businesses
must be active in industrial sectors that have been assigned top priority
by PÔLE.
Coaching by a PÔLE advisor
Qualifying businesspeople will be granted 4 hours’ worth of services
of an advisor on a weekly basis for the purpose of implementing their
company’s business plan.
Coaching by an advisory board
If a business does not have a board of directors, a transitional advisory
board will be set up. If the businessperson is so inclined, he or
she may go on to appoint individuals to all positions on the board
of directors.
The advisory board will consist of four people:
- the businessman or -woman (applicant)
- the PÔLE Québec Chaudière-Appalaches advisor

the designated advisor having expertise in either the company’s
technology
or in marketing
- an outside businessman or -woman having an
extensive network of business contacts
The type of coaching given will be a source of major added value.
Further, the combined impact of the experience of advisors and other
actors,
networks, and sound advice will go a long way toward enabling the
company to achieve
its objectives.
Training
A $1000 grant is awarded businesspeople who take part in the PÔLE
training sessions
best suited to their needs.
A PÔLE training advisor will analyze the business’s
training requirements.
