Business coaching for the Capitale Nationale region Mentoring
PÔLE’s mentoring cell has been certified by the Fondation
de l’Entrepreneurship’s Service de Parrainage and enjoys
all the coaching benefits that this foundation has to offer cell coordinators.
Unit objectives:
- Prepare and train future managers and highly skilled employees
- Assist businesspeople and improve their company’s success rate
and growth
- Provide businesspeople with access to contact networks
Target clientele:
- The program is intended for any businessman or -woman working in
one of the sectors specially targeted by PÔLE Québec Chaudière-Appalaches
who would like to be mentored in respect of developing his or her business.
- The business may be in the start-up phase or any other phase of
development
- To qualify, businesspeople must have the greater Québec City/Chaudière-Appalaches
region as their main place of business
Selection process:
Mentors:
- Candidate search by PÔLE administrators
- Validation of potential candidates by PÔLE senior management
- One-on-one meeting with the candidate selected by the advisor in charge
of the mentoring cell so as to check the candidate’s understanding
of the role of mentors vis-à-vis the mentored subjects
- Advisor’s recommendation tabled with the PÔLE executive
committee for approval of the selected mentor
Mentored businesspeople:
- Presentation of project to PÔLE advisors
- Analysis of project by PÔLE advisor
- Presentation of mentor captain, recommendation concerning the choice
of mentor,
and presentation of the project to the selected
mentor
- Meeting between mentor and mentored businessman/-woman
- Signature of mentoring agreement between mentor and mentored
businessman/-woman
